Local Business Support

Supporting Salem entrepreneurs

Salem Main Streets champions the wide diversity of business in Salem’s downtown district, from traditional brick-and-mortar restaurants and retail, to personal services and second-floor businesses, to emerging businesses without a location to call home. Our business support is free to any business located in or operating within the downtown district.

We offer free technical assistance workshops, one-on-one strategy consultations, social media promotion, and initiatives like window contests and sidewalk sales for all downtown Salem businesses.

Testimonials

Salem Main Streets’ unique initiatives not only increase foot traffic, visibility, and engagement for businesses, they enhance the vitality of our community — making Salem a must-visit destination for residents and visitors.

Liz Frazier
owner of Witch City Wicks

When I volunteer for Salem Main Streets, not only do I get to support the city I call home in a hands-on way, but it is also my opportunity to support the creation of more shared memories — connecting a thread from past, to present, to future generations.

From supporting businesses, to facilitating arts and culture, creating access to fresh food, and celebrating events year-round, we have Salem Main Streets to thank for making our community vibrant, unique, and successful!
