Howl-o-ween Pet Parade
Salem has gone to the dogs (and cats and lizards and bunnies), and we couldn’t be happier about it!
Salem Main Streets is pleased to present the annual Howl-o-ween Pet Parade! The 2025 pet parade will return to Derby Wharf on Saturday, Oct. 11th at 11 am, with the usual fun, costumes, and contest with prizes. NEW this year - parade will be lead by the winner of Salem's very first Dog Mayor race!
We ask all parade participants to register online in advance if possible (registration to go live in September). We request a small donation of $5 for Salem residents and $10 for non-residents. All proceeds go directly to Salem Main Streets in support of special community programs (like this one!) all year round.
